Drawing, photography, and the occasional piece in wood and metal. I do a lot of comic art, but also individual commission pieces from time to time. Book covers, D&D characters, that sort of thing.
Hi love your work, especially your YouTube channel. I was wondering if you might consider a project that is more of a thought experiment? Please let me know if you are interested.
I'm potentially interested. What do you have in mind?
An alternate history crossover. What I'm asking is, what do you think would have happened if Harry Turtledove's Lizards invaded during S.M. Stirling's Eurasian War around the same time they did in the original Worldwar series? Which was around late May 1942. I am genuinely curious as to how that would have changed the course of events in the Draka series.
I have thought about that on occasion. I don't recall exactly when the first nuclear weapons were used in the Eurasian War (I want to say '44 but I'd have to check the books again) and I'd expect that both the US and the Domination would retain most of their contiguous territory, though I could see the Draka being unable to hold China and their Ottoman territories, most of the locals in places not firmly held by the Draka for at least a generation would probably flock to be subjects of the Lizards rather than be serfs to the Draka. I would.
Now if the more difficult military situation leads to Straha having more support and deposing Atvar, that opens up a lot of possibilities. I could see Straha nuking the entire African continent to glass in desperation, then using it as an example to everyone else, colonization fleet be damned. That's the thing with war, you never really know how desperate or crazy the other guys are.
Could definitely be a cool crossover, time permitting I'd be interested in doing something on it.
